Lee, Hill and Johnston Ranks Top in the State

Lee, Hill and Johnston Insurors was recently recognized by Auto-Owners Insurance as its top producer of new business in Georgia in 2011. The independent insurance agency was chosen out of more than 320 other agencies in the state, writing more new premium volume for home, auto and commercial insurance than any other agency in Georgia.

“I would really like to thank all our customers. We appreciate every one of them and the trust they place in us,” said John Lee of Lee, Hill and Johnston. “I would also like to thank and commend our staff. We have great folks here and they’ve been working really hard.”
 
Managing partners Lee and Pratt Hill were presented with the award at the Georgia Top 10 Reception in Atlanta by Jeff Tasgold, president of Auto-Owners, along with Jamie Whisnant, vice president of the company’s Duluth office.
 
“Our staff has worked extremely hard to make this possible. It is always our goal to deliver the best service possible and be accessible to our customers when they need us,” said Hill.
 
Lee is a past president of the Southeast Georgia Independent Insurance Association, served a term on the Bulloch County Commission and is a former member of the board of directors of the Chamber of Commerce.
 
Hill is a founding member and former president of Joseph’s Home for Boys. In addition to serving on the Red Cross board of directors, Hill has been a board member of the Chamber of Commerce, Statesboro Rotary Club and Southern Boosters. A member of the Statesboro High School Athletic Hall of Fame, he has been instrumental in the success of the Schenkel Collegiate Golf Tournament during the past decade.
 
Lee and Hill are both graduates of Georgia Southern University. The agency currently helps fund three scholarships at the university in the business, drama and kinesiology departments.
 
Lee, Hill and Johnston has represented Auto-Owners since 1997 and is one of the company’s largest agencies in southeast Georgia. The Statesboro-based agency was also named one of the top 10 producers of new business in 2009.
